I distinctly remember a time when I was a quintessential morning person. Waking before the sun, feeling energized and productive. Meanwhile, my own internal dialogue is still attempting to string together coherent thoughts, let alone complex calculations.

We’ve reached a rather practical understanding, though. He’s welcome to ponder these significant matters in contemplative silence, but under no circumstances are they to be verbalized in my direction until I’ve had at least one, deeply satisfying sip of my beloved Iced Almond Matcha Latte. It’s a non-negotiable part of my morning awakening ritual!
